I got this item on sale for a ridiculously low price, so i'm not going to complain too much, but the quantity is nowhere near the same as other brands. I'll use it in water that seems clean but not dangerous.

The filter (hollow fiber membrane) is 3 fingers in size and of very low quality! It filters the SIM, but that doesn't mean any security at all! I did a test and it only filters slightly dirty water like from a river, and even then you have to use chlorine/boiling water with a bit more dirt, which makes the water turn yellow! There is no mechanism to improve the taste; I also put a few drops in my mouth to test, and the taste is just like dirty water! If you're going to use it seriously and your budget can't afford a better quality product. First, decant, then filter through the device, and finally boil or chlorinate.

The filter it comes with is very small, nothing like the description provided. I thought it would come with a larger internal filter due to its size, but you can see that the filter is very small. I will use it because of its price, but next time I will buy one of higher quality. I highly doubt it will filter the particles it claims to.
